It could've been completed if everyone focused on just the MO but people also wanna just have fun and fight on the stuff they want to which is understandable. At least 20k players are on non MO planets currently and it was like that a lot of the time. If we all committed it probably could've been done, but as I mentioned, people also just want to have fun
I personally don't like fighting bugs as much, even more on the jungle biome so I didn't care to stay there the whole time
It wasn't set up to fail if we only failed it by four hours and we actually had the people online to be able to complete it. The bot defense missions were also set at a low invasion strength (super defense value) which made them a lot easier to complete.
Just not everyone wants to fully commit to MO's. Even more so when they're on planets they don't enjoy
You know, it would be nice if we had one giant group or social that acted as the real central command. Been reading Attack on Titan recently and that military mindset is a fun RP.
I don't mean the official discord server though, that place has too much issues.
Edit: I won't lie though, Gacrux is a horrible planet and the time I spent there frustrated me. Due to all the trees, my regular stratagems wouldn't work which is a problem against titans. Also due to the trees, my framerate tanked and I couldn't tell where I was going.
Compared to that, the bot front had a moon-like planet with very high visibility which I LOVED. It's been so long since I dropped on a planet where I could see 2 feet ahead of me that I had forgotten just how fun this game can actually be.
We actually have more people playing now than we have in awhile. Obliviously not like launch but that won't happen again but people to point at launch's absurd number as if it was going to be sustainable
Regardless, we used to have like 30-50k players on but we've had upwards to 90k in the past month. So there has been a resurgence
Not once did the number of players in bot front surpass the bug front for long period of time.
I've been constantly interchanging between the bot and bug front depending on who has less players and majority of the time the bugs had more players.
