Opinions on idea for new Booster Buff
With the new booster out, it seems kind of lacklustre imo, so I was thinking of a way to buff it. What do you guys think of giving it another ability where it does the exact opposite, it consumes stamina to regen HP, but you have to consume all your stamina and have hp regen over time/regen all at once at the end?

Another idea I had is that the booster, it still consumes HP to run, but at the same time allows you to consumes stamina to give you temp HP which surpasses your HP limit so you turn into a sort of immobile juggernaut until your stamina fully regens or something

Any opinions/changes would be appreciated

I don't think the game really needs more heals atm. New perk is lackluster, but I still forget about it and then freak out because I think I'm running through a poison cloud or something, lol

I think it should just buff your armour and stagger resistance when you're sprinting. Preferably only for frontal damage, if they can even check for something like that, so you gain the boost when running towards enemy lines into a hail of gunfire and not when you're running away like a undemocratic coward! Bigger bonus the heavier your armour is. At least then it might be competitive to other boosters + it's a stamina related booster that actually gives more benefit to heavy armour users instead of light armour users like usual. It's also now a benefit to the entire team without being obnoxiously in your face, and nor is it something that changes the games dynamics too much. A "constant" passive bonus.

Then take "Dead Sprint" and turn it into an armour perk for the Warbonds heavy armour that makes you sprint at the speed of light armour, but it causes you damage when it does it (because the servos are faulty and overheat, burning you + hauling ass in that heavy suit is hell on your joints). However, you don't get light armours stamina values, that'd be silly.

Think Mega Armored Nobz from Dawn of War and you wouldn't be far off, I guess.

Just boost armor forget about the resistances and frontal protection scheme. We have health, stamina. We need armor boost so its maybe plus +50 so heavy gets 200 and light turns to medium.

Ah, yeah but then it would become another 100% pick. Vitality, Stamina, Armour, and then probably full equipment restock when respawning.

Well, at least it'd encourage playing in four man teams, lol.

I think it's easier to just forget that it exist for now until AH decide what they want booster to be since nothing thus far can be justify over the BIG 4 of boosters right now if you want something actually useful and reliable.

As I mentioned in past, we could really use a booster that promotes coop and sticking together. Something like a buff that starts working when other squad mates are close, increasing armor or speed or reloading speed, and the more players are close, the stronger buff becomes.

A buff that makes the objective bars move faster, with bonus if teammates are closer.

But what i think it can be nice if they want to keep at it with situational boosters, i would like one for support weapons to be already equiped for the first drop. One time only at the beginning of a mission and it would be nice for all players since they can risk more dangerous drop zones.

I think it would be cool if it increased your sprint speed proportional to how much hp you've lost

A "Radio Relay" or "Triangulation Plotting" or something whatever booster that reduced strategem cooldowns when at least three players are within Xm of each other could be cool maybe.

Might be overpowered but at least it would encourage sticking together. The Super Destroyers in orbit work in tandem and thanks to the booster triangulating enemy positions or whatever else lets them plot their firing solutions faster and more accurately, leading to...I dunno, faster cooldowns, faster calldowns and more accurate strategems overall, for the players who are in the network?

Problem is it'd be a 100% pay-to-win pick on Defence / Eradication missions, lol. You'd be mad not to take it and get an easy big buff to your strategems in that sense. Same for if it boosted other things, like health, armour or whatever too.

My first thought about the booster was that it would only make sense to take (over stim upgrade) if we still couldn't use stims when not wounded.

I wonder what a marginal reload speed increase would do. Would people drop the big four for a 5% faster reload?

Make it 15% and its considerable.

No, I may consider it at about 25%. Vitality booster gives a 20% reduction in damage, which can be about a 25% increase in health but even more as you get heavier armor.
