Ship Module Costs Not "Balanced"
Does anyone find it odd that the 4th and 5th ship upgrade modules sample costs are way out of proportion? It's been a while since I've bought a lower tier module upgrade, so I can't really vouch for those, but 250 common, 200 rare, and 20 super samples just isn't scaled right. I'm constantly at max common and super sample capacity, while having next to no rare samples. It's because the most rare samples you can hold at one time is 200 IIRC, so you're using all of them when buying a high end ship module. Common sample cap is 500, and super sample is 100. Shouldn't the rare sample cost be like, 100? So if you have max samples, you can buy at least two upgrades? Ignoring req slips because 3 super helldive missions and you'll have enough to get another upgrade. Like I said, I only have a few left so I probably won't be able to be affected by a change if one happens, but I'm sure people with less time than I do would appreciate a cost reduction for those higher end modules. :)

It is whacked. And it is a grind.

With that said, totally worth the grind.

Because most players are capped on samples in a few days. They are easy to obtain in large numbers, you can't even call it a grind. Thus big prices.

It's this way intentionally, I believe.

The destroyer upgrades are relatively very small upgrades overall anyway. They're just there to help people who play the game a ton, and do very little in terms of game impact. The largest one is probably +1 airstrikes for any eagle drop, and that is early enough that it isn't hard to obtain.

No, by the time they had brought them to the game, I was maxed out of samples after a few hours of play. They are just there as something to do really and offer nothing game changing really that people notice while playing. the only ones I've found really useful are the one that gives you more control over your hellpod, the extras ordinance for your eagles and that's it really. Everything else is just cosmetic changes for your ship and something to do really, ones you've unlocked everything, there are really on war bonds to "keep you playing" outside of general enjoyment.

No, not really.

Last tier upgrades are kinda wack though. For example tier 5 eagle upgrade costs 250 orange samples while 250 is the resource cap for those type of samples. You constantly waste green and purple samples while waiting to stockpile enough orange ones.

The sample type imbalance is really bad, for several days i was maxed in commons and had more supers than i knew what to do with but the grind for rares was straight up ball flattening.

It's obvious no one properly tested that because overall resource cap in the game is too low and just blatant retarded. Ironically it actually incentives a player not to play rather than play the game because a player can't stockpile resources for example once you hit the cap on medals there is no reason for you to do any orders as you got nothing to spend medals for nor can stockpile more medals for a future.
Like seriously how stupid is that even mobile games kinda figure that out.

^^^This
It's because a lot of high level divers were long capped on everything so AH made the purchases high enough to soak up resources for a bit. Early videos back in August had streamers picking up samples for the first time in months. It gave them something to do.
