Things that can outright destroy fabricators can close bug holes. Except for the Spear. Just aim properly.
SG-8P Punisher Plasma, PLAS-1 Scorcher, PLAS-101 Purifier, PLAS-15 Loyalist, G-23 Stun, G-4 Gas, G-3 Smoke.
These weapons are categorized as ‘Explosive’, indicated under the list of Weapon Traits of each. They do not seal bug holes. The issue is the game implies you need explosive weaponry to seal bug holes, and they do not. Not all these weapons are even explosive or deals damage. I want the weapons that can seal bug holes to be categorized as explosive and non-explosive weapons to not have the description of explosive. The issue is poor description.
Ah so what you're complaining is about inaccurate weapon descriptions.
That I can understand, perhaps they should slap that explosive trait only on stuff that can actually close holes/destroy fabs and label the rest as "area of effect" or something.

Bug holes can be blown up with eruptor, crossbow and grenade pistol, but you need to actually hit the bug hole at a certain angle into the hole, not in front, not the back, in the hole.
So what you're saying is that the rim of the hole is not good enough and you actually need to insert the explosive load into the bowels of the hole?
Your choices were: Railgun, Grenade Launcher, Autocannon.
If the Orbital Lazer could cauterize bugholes closed, it would be fun again watching 4 players throw doom swords.

Alot of people still use grenades to seal bug holes. Because, they are there for that. So you dont need a ''Special Weapon'' for them
If you limit yourself to only the exploding crossbow and a bubble shield 24/7...
It makes your whole point kinda moot to begin with.
If youre so frivolous that you need the Devs to add ''a Bug Hole Meta Gun''
