Its the normal, people who like the game would rather be playing it instead of be here on the forums... Crying? pretty sure most of it can be summoned up as crying, whining at the very least. games fun, game play is fine and pretty much what I expect anytime I launch it.
People constantly complain about content, but really the likely hood is that the dev team is working on illuminates and clan stuff with their space station for larger updates instead of pressing out another couple guns or something small. also they have said many times that vehicles need a engine rewrite and those where in the game files at launch, just another not small thing to work on.
In all I think the community just needs to cycle, people need to play other things and cycle back every once in awhile, which is why I am here posting before getting back in again. To see what I can pick up about the game state.
the summary seems to be community is just crying, Game seems fine with updates moved a focus on substantial larger updates instead of small quick ones.

Nah most of the community is fine. The problem is, and its not just with HD2 but with a lot of games.

People will go out of their way to be a determent to the team by taking weak stratagems, poorly using them, IE people who use the napalm orbital like a grenade, take actual detrimental boosters like dead run or fire pods, which actively make the experience for everyone worse, then when they are told not, to and get kicked for it, the blame "MUH TOXIC COMMUNITY!"

Dont get me wrong, there are scummy people out there, but a lot of people who claim the community are toxic, is only because they are toxic to the community.

I can't feel sorry for grown adults that can't play with childrens toys. I see children every day that play with toys and they have fun and don't run to forums to complain about stuff they clearly don't understand. They don't do that.

There is still a very good community on the game, they just dont spend the day here or on the official discord

In my over 300 hours of playtime I met like 4 toxic players in total. Seems like bad luck for you.
