By your logic why was the Sickle added then in the first place?
And regards to OP yes add sicklepistol but without the BS with it being linked to shield or whatnot or dualwielding.
That was the question in HD1, why have both (the Scythe and the Sickle). However, the way the Sickle operated in HD1 is much different in HD2. The Sickle makes more sense in HD2 than HD1, but I still not sold on a secondary use case. However, I'm not the dev so those wanting to make suggestions for the dev to "see", should join their Discord.
There are no devs in discord, just community managers.
To be honest it's pointless to try to suggest anything to devs here or there, they probably don't want anything to do with the playerbase other than money.
Polls there are from the devs. That is specifically where the devs are reading. Valve forces every game sold on their platform to have a forum here. However, they do not require devs to monitor or manage said forum.
I'm not a fan of Discord myself. But I do understand that if I want my suggestions to be taken seriously, I have to post where the devs are reading.
Them making a poll as in asking the playerbase a specific question is wildly different from them reading ANY of the other stuff in there, pretty sure they don't.
At best a community manager might forward them something if said CM feels it's something meaningful an then the devs maybe and that is a big maybe read that.
I'm not trying to change how you feel, but the devs literally talk about interacting in their Discord and Twitter/X when they post their videos. They never mention "Steam forums".
So basically an infinite-ammo Redeemer?
