buff the constition rifle.

every game needs slow and powerful guns. guns of the past always fill this role well because they often are the most rewarding types of weapons. the constitution is one of those great weapons that every hell diver should enjoy. but sadly its outclassed by everything. and i feel it need a damage buff/ allow us to shoot well reloading. this would stop your reload. but doesn't make you stupidly vulnerable. i am not reloading the machine gun. and honestly it feels safer to reload that XD

dont forget its a weapon for 16 yr olds so no they should leave it how it is and just give us a super constitution with 10 shots doing 3-500 damage per shot and one of those clips that reload from the top where the mag had to be jammed into the gun and would catch ur finger if u weren't careful

I dont like the argument of "its supposed to be weak"

like no. a rifle like that should not take 2-3 hits to kill medium enemies. period.
it sounds weak. it IS weak. and its melee factor is near useless when everything else is a better option.

im not a balance expert or anything but.

I think it needs a faster reload (similar to the revolvers buff in that department)
and increase its dmg to kill warrior bugs in a single shot to the body (not legs)

atm 5 shots is enough to kill 2 enemies before having to run for you life to spend 20 minutes reloading.

its pathetic and abysmally underwhelming, joke weapon or not.

a joke weapon doesnt have to be fundamentally worse than everything else in the game for no real reason.

Nah, its meant to be a weak joke weapon so its fine to keep it where its at. Maybe one day they can add a stronger variation but other than that, its fine.

Nah the gun needs AP4 as it is basically a senator but in primary slot, even if you put clip reload on empty on it that would make it more similar to the revolver.

My point is that its a free event gun so it was clearly never intended to be anywhere close to meta. Imo instead of asking for buffs for this gun you'd be better off asking for a new gun with similar functionality but intended to be good. Which I would also love because I quite like feel of the gun as well.

The senator shouldn't even have AP4 and we were all surprised it even got that, so that's not much of a point lol.

I use it reliably on bug d10, honestly the constitution is better than both diligence rifles on bugs, not sure why people say it's weak, only gun it's inferior to is the punisher slugger, but that lacks the bullet speed and melee feature, so pick and choose.

The Constitution is in a good place imo. It is my current main gun on both fronts it's so fun to use. Sure it's not the best but it is certainly adequate.
