I'll quit if PSN is required

It's that simple. I'll stop playing HD2 (currently my fav game) and I wouldn't consider returning. Hard pass on PSN.

I'm right there with you. I love this game and its one of the best I've played in a long time. But i don't feel like psn getting hacked again in a few years and leaking my personal details is worth it.

If. IF. they make it a requirement stop playing the game. review bomb it to ♥♥♥♥. and give arrowhead all the ammo you can to fight back against it.

They got so much backlash for a PSN thing that, to my knowledge it is no longer required. You should be able to skip the signup for it.

The trouble is UN-linking the account. Apparently, one of the only ways to do it is to buy another game of theirs For some stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason and in the main menu in that you can unlink it. You can't even do it on the website since I looked last. PSN is scum and anyone that uses it is a nitwitted fool.

That was back in 2011, but in 2015 passwords were compromised AGAIN.

Actually, to date, Steam has been hacked more times than PSN. This is not a good reason.

The deal with sony to publish this game required use of PSN. Everyone knew this well in advance. The dev messed up big time and threw sony under the bus to dodge a bullet from a management mistake...this game is plagued by poor management and live service restrictions...

Ultimately they have your money, you ain't getting it back, terms of service change all the time and its a live service so you have zero recourse, you cant roll back a version and still connect to a live service.
Sadly i was gifted this game. I never would have bought it myself but my friend wanted someone to play with. Sure its fun to blow stuff up but i despise live service. Its anti consumer and serves to enable greedy publishers to milk people via cash shop purchases.

Cash shops in games are such garbage. But thats what you kids want, you keep buying stuff from them lol

I was indifferent to the PSN requirement, but after seeing all these threads I honestly hope they do require it.

It would shed so many of these people, and things are probably better off without them.

I don't even like Sony, Playstations, or anything else I've just grown to hate these people even more.
