He does have a point, but he completely ignores an extremely important fact (one that a lot of people ignore when they compare things to valve):
Valve is privately owned, and isn't owned by gready shareholders, banks, and investors who seek higher and higher short time profits.
Valve is mostly owned by Gaben, and some employees also have shares, but that's it.

PSN is a private company's private shait network and launcher. Its not a global store front despite selling and operating games for consoles.
It might consider itself to be steam on consoles, but its absolutely nothing the like when it comes to PC.
And they are not forcing their shait on consoles.
