Super Helldive difficulty is too easy.....
If you're good at this game, know how the mechanics of everything, or most things work, you can literally roll around on this difficulty solo and just autopilot your brain. There's little to no challenge behind this because the spawn rates of stupid hard enemies have been nerfed into the ground, and on top of that, a ton of our stuff has been heavily buffed. If you buff our equipment by a huge margin, then decrease the actual threatening enemy spawn rates by a large margin, then the game just becomes laughable in the sense of difficulty and honestly extremely boring.

A difficulty level like this should honestly feel as chaotic as how difficulty 9 felt at launch, where I would have literally 5 bile Titans and 7 chargers trying to run my ass down, on top of all the chaff chasing me. The old times where whenever we started the extraction beacon, us 4, or however many Helldivers in the session, felt like the damn 3 predators on top of the pyramid fighting an endless onslaught of Xeno's from the AVP movie in 2004. THAT felt like an actual "Helldive" because it was absolute chaos, and you had to lock in, to even have a chance at surviving, and where the whole "failure is not an option" saying for special forces units felt insanely prominent. Going from that, to running around solo and MAYBE having to deal with 2 Bile titans and maximum of 3 chargers, if you get RNG rolled the hardest bug breach spawn, is honestly extremely boring for the thrill seekers/challengers. The feeling of making a single little mistake, and getting absolutely obliterated by the enemy, was the kick ass type of challenge that a lot of really good gamers were after, even if its just a PVE game. The insanely high enemy presence of things that would absolutely kick your ass being everywhere, ESPECIALLY if a Bug Breach or Bot Drop was called, actually made us feel like HellDivers diving into a completely FUBAR situation to UN-FUBAR it.

I don't know how much of the community disagree's with this type of spawn rate(sounds like a lot), since there's always a crapload of people looking for a "casual and laid back experience," but then select the hardest difficulty of the game and get rolled on, then complain how hard it is and should be nerfed to their personal liking... But I know there's also a decent amount of above average gamers that, even on a co-op PVE game like this, still seek a challenging experience with their friends, or by themselves, so they can look at the experience afterwards and say "that was absolute madness but, we kicked ass."

Here's my idea of a viable solution to appease both types of gamers, from braindead gamer to DoomGuys Prodigy. Add a difficulty increment meter, or difficulty multiplier, to the guys that are rolling through Super Helldive missions without failing a single one. So for example, at the start, it plays and feels like the normal Super Helldive difficulty for the the first series of 3 missions you do. If you complete all 3 without failing one of them, you get a difficulty Increment point, so you're next 3 will be harder than the normal Super Helldive. If you complete those 3 without failing, then you get another difficulty increment point until you eventually face odds that are so FUBAR, your team gets wiped(Unless you literally have 4 HellDiver Commando's or something, then just keep riding the lightning my brothers lol). Then when you get wiped, it resets the difficulty increment back to zero, or maybe give the host an option to keep it as is, or lower it by 1 for each failure, turn the system as a whole on/off in general etc. At this rate, if anyone turns that difficulty modifier ON, gets obliterated at some point, then turns around and says "Game too hard, need nerf" you can just turn around and laugh at them and tell them to turn the modifier off, or lower the increment point. You don't even have to add extra rewards to this system, this is literally just meant for the hard ass Hell Divers to satiate their thirst for relentless bug and bot bloodshed because, I don't feel like I'm getting enough pure chaos experiences like I used too anymore.

It's not easy at all. You are just lucky this day. Sometimes Diff 10 is extremely hard, you will be drowning in enemies and absolutely get wrecked. Sometimes its just another tuesday.

lmao
imagine thinking it's a brag to pretend you can solo 10
It's not hard.

Well I guess thats the point of this whole discussion. As soloing difficulty 9/10 used to be hard. Hence all the people using stealth gear and strategy to accomplish it. Now even a drunken dumbass like me can solo 10 without stealth or even trying.

Just have faith that the new difficulties are going to challenge you. That's how this is supposed to work. Get good at something, it becomes easy. Up to them to add new stuff.

The games more hectic, not necessarily easier since the buff patches, because they also made us easier to kill - much easier, from melee and ragdoll impact.

You will never fix people complaining.

Conflating a sale on top of a major holiday as a success is incredibly short sighted. That's like celebrating a scratch ticket, Unless you're giving up your work for retirement popularity and difficulty don't mean anything to each other. The developers don't appear to be retiring any time soon, so again your statement is wrong.
Popularity means that there are more players playing the game, how does that mean that 10D is fine?
if super helldive is too easy, stop asking for a buff to it.
Ask for difficulty 15 instead.
I do hope they add at least 3 more levels but as of right now the new faction only has 3 enemy types one with a jetpack sometimes.
