Swedish voiceover?

I tend to change the spoken language in certain games (like Helldivers) from time to time, just to spice things up. I feel it can add to the immersion hearing callouts in anything besides English. Like, for instance, the Italian voiceovers have a nice punch to them!

BUT... Why didn't Arrowhead include a Swedish voiceover? Beats me! I feel like that's a missed opportunity, would have added a cool touch, the studio being Swedish and all. I get that it would have been niche, but still!

I'm pretty biased, of course.

fun fact: in the most recent update they changed the 4 available voicelines names to include "default" in them

this seemingly arbitrary change is actually a subtle hint that we will receive voice packs that are not "default"

so we will likely be getting 2-4 more voices.

EDIT:

also to answer your question its probably because the main language of super earth is english (?) so aside from lore it saves time and money on a lot of voice actors and subtitle translations
