What are the facts when it comes to the left vs right drama

Everything I see is basically supporting one side and ignoring what happened with the other side, I am lgbtq+ but couldn't care less about "inclusion" and just want the facts to form a opinion on how the mods handled it. Nothing that involves politics that could divide the community should be added there is zero reason to, And no one should be spreading hate to their fellow helldivers cause of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ politics outside the game end of story. (DO NOT COME IN HERE TO ARGUE WITH ME, I'M FOR NEITHER SIDE AND JUST WANT FACTUAL INFO ABOUT THE SITUATION) sorry my writing skills are bad, I have multiple learning disabilities and always struggled in English class from ♥♥♥♥♥♥ teachers, I am slowly relearning it but how I wrote before became habit

From what I understand, there were some (or "a") very sensitive moderators who chose to ban people who showed any amount of disrespect to their interests. In one particular case, a moderator who posted (or liked, or approved of) a Furry pic was met with multiple "barf" emojis. They proceeded to ban quite a number of people from the Discord.

Earlier this month, a post was made to celebrate Pride Month, and several players took it upon themselves to post celebration of "Straight Month". There was, of course, back and forth over this.

Other than that, the usual homophobia on forums. Or rather, that was the instance of lgbqt inclusion/approval/disapproval lately. As for direct Left/Right drama, it's the usual that's pervading American Politics at the moment.

In any case, it was thankfully limited to the Discord/forums, as in-game most people were content to shoot bugs and bots.

Another warning went out with a clear threat of bans if people continued to be disrespectful

People continued to be disrespectful.

It has now gotten to the point where even discussing the issue (or asking about it) can warrant a ban. People come here from discord claiming they asked about it and were banned.

As I see it, and this is my own personal OPINION about the rainbow stuff, the Devs will NOT include rainbow flags, capes and what have you, it's simply not the spirit of the game, although welcoming to the community (in general) they won't be putting in all the colours.

Many people have threatened to either quit the game entirely if colours were added, or repeatedly TK wearers of the colours.

Even if 20k players were of the colour variety, adding coloured capes isn't going to change who they are, it's not going to bring in a massive number of new players but those repeatedly TK'd could quit, and those that would quit on adding the colours = a net loss of players.

I'v seen someone say that the mods said that reacting that way was okay to do, can you confirm or deny that anything was listed on the approval or disapproval of such conduct? if not that's fine not everyone has all info readily on hand

Devs were promoting and endorsing NSFW terminid themed fan art and furry themed art and people were using the throw up emojis as a reaction on the images, and I guess when a Mod posted they're art when it got negative reaction emojis they locked the ability to use reactions and went on a massive ban wave. "i recall using reactions on art and I got banned without any appeal method, How long, Why, I didn't even get a notification why" The LGBTQ started playing victim shortly afterwards as it was originally furry art that started the ban wave.

News are just another form of entertainment as they may not contain fact, even if they do, it's delivered from another person to you, do you really think the actual fact would still retain? (Try manually drawing a picture from another person to another, it will always be different after passing it on)

Trust only things you actually "see" with your own eyes, even so what you might see could still be a delusional due to technology.

Don't take things too seriously when it comes to drama/scandal and do things that are irreversible.

Yes, people were warned and persisted in acting up. Was it the best moderation decision? Probably not. However, it was just the stupid Discord that was affected, and the crying from chuds was endless when they essentially did it to themselves. Queue them posting here after their bans when hardly anyone but other banned chuds gave a crap.

Buddy no one is doing any of that or even suggest something like that, I'm here to get verifiable proof nothing more, I'm not gonna do anything other than form a opinion and go about my day that's what ya do with those, The drama doesn't even matter to me more than wanting to know if the mods handled their community in a manner I see as correct, ok, or bad

What was different was this art was made by a moderator, so when it got vomit reacts like most of the furry art gets, they decided to do something about it and said it was disrespectful.
