2 stratagem jammers next to each other and 4 hulks when spawning into a level 5 bot mission.
F to the U to the C to the K this game.

And the devs.
Absolute trash.
"rely on your stratagems!" except you cant use them because of ultra BS and nerfs and bad design

That all?
Try choosing a landing spot that is unluckly surrounded by 5 Gunship Fabricators and a jammer on a 12 minute Blitz mission on difficulty 9 but still managing to full clear the map.

(This was my worse spawn ever, felt good taking out tho, made it memorable)

It's a pain, and getting to both to shut them off can be brutal, especially if you drop in next to them.

They tend to not have huge garrison's, but getting to them if you have a bunch of enemies already on you can be a beast.

Actually yes. Nobody stops OP from using the WASD keys to relocate to where they can use stratagems....

Each of those Jamemrs had nothing but Hulks, Heavy Devastators and Rocket Striders in them. No I did not manage to clear them...

yeah lots of us picked offensive stratagems so there was nothing we could do. Cant call them down if We can't disable both towers. Nor can we deal with the armor protecting it.

Just comes down to bad map generation.

Out of curiosity, in my experience a lot of missions that start with a big engagement (say 3-4 chargers already spawned and a breach on top right at the drop on diff 6-7) tend to be weirdly "empty" later on. Like a bug missions on 7 may not spawn any Titan, or end with a no-spawns extraction, stuff like that.

I don't have numbers for this, it's just how I feel from memory, but I wouldn't put it past the game having some number ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, like having the game think there are more elites on the ground if there were a lot at spawn or whatever.

So just curious if anyone else noticed something alike.

if the map says "safe" before you drop, this should not happen. But i know it does. That's absurd for lvl 5. If they allowed you to re deploy further away it would be one thing. But nope, all you can do is try to steer the pod further away. it's just wasting your respawns and im sure it's done by design. This is why i refuse to solo anymore because die once, and you'll be dropping into a shiitstorm for the next 3 respawns.....with only your primary. And you're staring up at a strider with a bunch of hulks already within 50 yds of you. It's just painfully stupid.

Avoid landing ontop of enemies at the start unless you're sure you can take out every unit allowed to call in a breach/drop before it does so.
