Dare I remind you that at first the game didn't even register loadouts and would spawn you with starting gear?
Yes they made a couple of "fixes" (like my friend list finally started working a couple months ago, provided I have crossplay on for some reason, if I turn it off then the friend list stops working) but overall the game's worse off from a technical POV.
Worse performance, crashes (or should I say more crashes, but I had none before the Arc Thrower patch), general failures on missions (bugged terminals, bugged objectives, straight up bugged missions etc.), collisions are FUBAR (with corpses sending you in the stratosphere and rocks eating you randomly), the general weapon balance is worse enough that it feels there are LESS weapons than before, I could keep going.
The game is in such a horrid state of limbo.
You have performance and technical issues since day 1 of launch. Its been over 5 months i think? Yet some of these problems have not been dealt with.
Why not? Because these devs put out patches and content that come with a myriad of its own issues. Entire warbonds being near useless save one grenade and a gun or armor.
Now the devs have that and the previous set of piling problems they haven't fixed and it becomes so damn bottlenecked that every patch that drops breaks the game a little more than it fixes. Its a miserable cycle tbh.
It also doesn't help that there's a very loud minority of players that pushback hard on any criticism this game receives, there's even a streamer called maplewoodtv that argues with his chat whenever an opposing view gets mentioned about HD2. Its insane, you can say something like 'xx should be buffed' and they will crucify you with skill issue.
EDF6 has been an outright abomination with desync. And Starship Troopers Extermination is randomly unplayable laggy.
Guns? Nah, I'd crash report and netcode.
At least on the bright side that game has an actual roadmap and the devs are slightly more competent than AH.
So far DRG has been the only PVE shooter that is legitimately good despite its current flaws
