WW2 era flamers were liquid fuel flamethrowers, meant to stick and cover areas in flames...
Videogames rarely do liquid fuel flamethrowers, all are always compressed gas flamers...
Which falls short kind of comically as soon as you look at anything in game, like their definition of "suppressing fire".
On the other hand the flamethrower here was at least closer to being realistic than average by a wide a margin.
Usually in games flamethrowers are more like a deodorant can and a lighter, they always seem to forget it's supposed to a flammable liquid.
Despite everything I must say it's one of the better flamethrowers I've seen ever.
Not sure what's so hard to design about them.
