27% (15,191 ppl) love it
33% (18,177 ppl) It's Bad
so ether you ppl need to go vote or its just the minority that are unhappy

im in the neutral group i didnt use the flame thrower or the shotgun so the update never really effected the way i play the game.
it is funny seeing all the hate on steam forums and the poll showing most of the ppl playing really dont care all that much about the changes on discord where the devs actually look at ppls comments and opinions

The discord isnt the entire community. Its only a small portion of it.

Im afraid you are misinterpreting the statistics in this case. 40% of people DO NOT CARE aka they are on the fence/didnt vote, that doesnt mean they like it. 27% of people voted they DO do vs 33% voted DO NOT. The 40% swings either way so you either don't count them or you split it evenly 50/50 if you do count them. Even with a split you still end up with 47% like vs 53% dislike.

Hilarious poll, yes and no, that should be it. Last time I was on that discord it was just two random dudes talking about how hot other fictional dudes are, nothing wrong with that, each to their own, but nothing to do with the game so I left it to its own "thing".

That's because the discord has been pretty harshly pruned of those who don't find the game fun and criticized it via those powertripping mods a few months ago. Not only that, if you're joining a game's discord server, you're probably having a pretty strong bias for it. Furthermore, 33% is a MASSIVE percentage of people who aren't having fun.

Learn to read a poll, the majority that give a clear answer say nay. The OP writes in the same way as most MSM do, notice the wording "and only 33%" from the first stated statistics that don't have a description in front of them. Not caring could just mean content, they may not be playing either, they just don't care. If they don't care why is it an option? Would they have voted different if that wasn't an option? What did they mean by don't care? It's a poor poll to begin with but it's not a good picture either.

Remember, this is on the Helldivers discord server too. View is heavily in favor of Helldivers 2 since most people bemoaning the game either don't join a discord server, or were banned by the powertripping mods a few months ago. So in reality the percentage of people loving it is likely much lower if you include the entire playerbase.

Hmm well you see, "Not Giving An F" still remains in the territory of positivity contrary to outright disliking something.

I consider myself as someone who doesn't care for the changes outside of bug/exploit fixes and yet i'm surprisingly more drawn to a positive take than a negative one.
