Even worse, it seems the enemy AI *might* attack it, so it may start off already damaged
They might want to add an "objective failed" prompt when the larvae gets destroyed i guess.
I like the mechanic how bugs are attracted to it though, I didn't know this when we stumbled across one for the first time. We had plenty of time after completing the main mission and I casually dumped it at the extraction point. As soon as I plopped it down....bugs!! More bugs! I picked it back up again quickly haha.
it isn't "destroyed at the start" the container actually has a pretty solid amount of health, and the bugs don't all just gang up and shred it. you get a group of them gathering around it, with some of them occasionally attacking it, like they would an obstacle. What it does, is add pressure to the mission. You have to pick it up quickly enough or it might get destroyed, but if you do pick it up, you'll start attracting extra bugs, until you extract. If anything, it adds a level of complexity that most other objectives don't, which is very nice.
gas strike will do the job without causing significant damage to the container
What it can, wow i used a 380 on it and it did not got destroyed wow that was lucky i guess
well, i used an airstrike on it to clear out the bugs, and it only lost like 1/3 of its hp. I probably wouldn't throw precision strikes at it though.
