Barrager Tanks
Can clip their rocket turret through themselves and shoot at a Helldiver lying prone next to their tracks.

Whatever happened to gun depression restrictions? Whatever happened to devs playing their game more, Johan?

Oh, and they can also shoot after being destroyed.

Edit: Clips of both bugs:

I thought I saw that last night, but the dead barrager in question had an airship on top of it, so it was hard to tell. Gonna keep my eye out for that.

I got it clipped. Will review in a bit.

And here's said clip:

Last two AMR shots did not have hit markers, so the tank is dead. Except the turret is still firing until it starts despawning.

Why exactly would a fully automized rocket slinger robot tank built for a numbers war care about self-preservation when it has it's enemy right next to it?

It should care about physics and the concept of two objects not being able to occupy the same space at the same time. You know, like the other two tanks and their turrets.

Oh boy! That isn't so good.

I also ran into a bug with the larva objective which broke the patrol spawns and prevented bug breaches, so I just walked through the mission for 20 minutes without anything besides PoI groups to fight. Admittedly yours was just playing and mine was really situational.

Clearly you only achieved a mobility kill

So we're bringing up physics, let's picture in your situation.

So you are taking cover behind 2 dead tanks while being prone near the tracks as the slinger is on the other side of both tanks right?

Considering these are units clearly meant to force you into changing cover by slinging rockets from a top>down trajectory, it's already very likely the missile that killed you skipped over one of the dead tanks.

Now let's say the missile didn't even "phase" through both tanks as you mentionned, rendering your cover more effective... Do you really think, that under the laws of physics, a rocket of that caliber wouldn't not only turn the tank body you were using as cover into dust, but also leave you either dead, or missing all your limbs + shrapnel from the tank's carcass all over your remaining body parts?

Arrowhead Game Studios Realism Checklist:

Flamethrower grilling chargers through chitin plating ❌

Barrager missile rack having more armour than a cannon tower✔️

Barrager turret phasing through matter✔️

Barrager turret remaining fully operational after the main body blows up in flames✔️

Why are you coping so hard that you're creating you own head-canon of what happened?

And people complain about Heavy Devastators shooting sideways lmao.

How am i creating my own head-canon when the situation i described is purely based of your initial post :bigjohn:

I don't think it's possible to word it any more clear and concise. "Lying prone next to other tanks" is your head-canon.
