Boys, I have a feeling the 180+ countries will never come back, its nothing but a crack dream at this point.
Think about it, Sony is too big and successful to care about 1 game to make it an exception, they didn't do business at these regions. I wanted to play Ghost of Tsushima so bad but now its nothing but a bruh moment. I wanted to play this game with my school friends and was willing to buy it for them and now I am unable to do so.
This is just so sad.

-If sony didn't care, they wouldn't of listened to the community and drawn back on the PSN requirement for the time being. They'd made their millions, they could of just said F the pc community for being a bunch of inbreds who can't read and slapped ya'll with psn anyways. Game might of fizzled a little but it would of been ok in the long run.

-Some of those countries Sony has no control of. Russia and China for example. That's solely governments blocking trade agreements and there's not F all that can be done about that. Other then those two the other countries aren't really important numbers wise. Philipines might be the only one besides Rus and china.

-Not playing GoTs because the pc community doesn't know how to read two giant warning signs is silly.

- If the PC community hadn't whined so much about it, there was work-arounds for those countries to still play the game while making a psn account using vpns. Because the pc community whined about refunds, Valve blocked all future sales in those countries. (Confirmed by a valve employee in a pcgamer interview)

In short: Only banned countries that matter numbers wise are Rus and China. The rest are negligible. People who try and blame the number decline on those "180 countries" are just using it as an excuse.

Pop quiz!

There are 195 recognized countries in the world. PSN is available in 69 countries. How many countries is PSN currently banned from? (Show your work)

The real number is 177. 180+ was a generalization, doesnt help or fix the problem either with ur post.

hbyw618 Aug 4, 2024 @ 7:21am
No more, no less, just about 200 countries, I dunno if that's enough.

I know word problems can be confusing, but if you write out the equation and show your work maybe we can see where your math went wrong.

Its countries and territories that were delisted.

For instance, the UK can play the game just fine. Those in Gibraltar can't even though it's still the UK.
