Ragdoll is ridiculous.
I do like ragdoll and I understand that physics is part of the game's fun but i just quit playing bots (and I love smash bots) because of the absolutely nonsense of the ragdoll mechanics.

The bots dynamics just make unenjoyable to play difficulties higher than 7 because of ragdoll, even playing well, getting coverages and watching out 24/7 you are constantly being fired up by all kinds of explosives that even not impacting directly on you makes you fly all the way... so what's the deal on making missions constantly shaked up like a mojito...

This post gets made every hour of every day, it'll be deleted soon. But many agree.... SAdly the devs do not. They are adding a tank with rockets soon just to add more near miss knockback ragdolling soon.

Well I understand devs want to make feel the players pushed to the limit harder the higher difficulty, I get that, it's obvious, but they should watch out this mechanic because of obvious reasons. I enjoy being surpassed by a sea of bugs for example, in the bugs case, but the bots way is just mopping the floor with us, this results in a very low experiencie of gaming.

I see players venting a lot about this topic, just adding a little more of pressure as a consumer.

Well beforehand any rocket would literally just kill you. We got more ragdoll style because if gives you a chance to not get instantly killed by the 1010101010 rocket devastators you have to fight on level 9. That being said i don't think the playerbase really got to pick their poison between less numbers spam on enemies that can one shot or ragdolling instead

It's annoying but not as annoying as the 10000000 arbitrary things that can cancel reload, such as lightly touching a tiny rock with your foot. That stupid crap needs fixing as well.

This one is so much more aggravating to me, in combat i can understand WHAT ragdolled me, but the slope sliding is just ridiculous & unpredictable, you can be standing still for about 2 whole seconds firing in FPS & & get pulled to Third-P as you watch your character just decide their shoes are roller skates or Skiis all of a sudden.

It might be on the realistic side, but it's the worst realistic feature to implement in a virtual space, when you cannot physically feel the terrain & understand if your footing is stable or not.

"Death Stranding", worked around this by clearly establishing that rocks always gave unstable footing & you could sonar ping your environment to see terrain stability, but this was a post-man game with some combat elements. Mastering terrain traversal was the core premise. Even then, the game had the occasional problem with sketchy physics but in those cases you were always climbing sketchy areas, so you at least understood the potential risk.

HD2 is a "co-op" horde-shooter first, & doesn't give you any clear indication of WHAT causes you to slide, you can look at a slope & say "I can NOT walk up that" but you can, Skyrim Horse Style. Then other times it's visibly easy to traverse, but now you're sliding for half a second for the next few steps you take.

I have to add that (after more than one month without playing, having played since the launch) this ragdoll thing mixed up MORE THAN EVER (dunno why) with GOING UNDER THE TERRAIN MESH a LOT of times, something that before were occasional now it happens to me almost in every game. If I get an explosion that sends me to fly or gets me down, my character makes swimming animation if i have good luck or it get stucked under the mesh if i have bad luck xDD this is beyond my comprehension too.

Game still bugged as ♥♥♥♥ like first weeks/months, I dont understand why a lot of bugs still standing or more of them appeared.

I think this is something to do with AH trying to stop the glitches of players falling under the map, so you get gently pushed back up onto the surface when it happens.

That said, there has definitely been an increase in cases where me & the camera would go under compared to before though.
