Because of the psn link issue you're sol, they're working on a new system.
Though I'm pretty sure team killing is just a part of the game friend.
Currently the only way to report a player is if they have written something worth reporting, in the chat box.
Bought this game to play with some friends but if I new it would have turned out like this then I wouldn't have.
Reporting is for notification/records, not for retribution.
Report Categories are prolific, they don't need video-uploads:
- TeamKilling
- Getting kicked
- Stealing Resources
- Cheating
- Voice Chat
- Text Chat
* show me a guy officially penalised for this and he gets a tribute, of some kind.
(Show me the banned account and video of 'dude' saying why AH why?)
You sound bitter and have a personal axe to grind.
Reports =/= A path to personalRevenge or personalRetribution
You are correct. But they can lead to someone building up a reputation for being a bad player and preventing them from doing this in the future. To me this is especially important in a Coop game.
That said, the developers of this game love to troll and make the playing environment simulate a militaristic, authoritarian and "managed democracy" type scenario. So this feature being part of the joke, would make sense. I have played games where someone who joined my lobby didn't die once, killed every enemy effortlessly, zoomed across the map at high speed, and then at the extraction point rained down every stratagem known to SuperEarth at once, killing us and our frame-rates while standing in the middle unharmed with arms extended, and I was unable to kick them from my party. Considering that this player's name was ManagedDemocracy I'm gonna guess that was someone from the developer messing with us. I have read other people give stories like this too. I think we are forgetting the punk rock type style this developer is, for better or worse.
