Commando Nerf
So the commando has a "bug" where it can destroy fabs? In typical Arrowhead fasion of "fixing" bugged weapons. Expect the commando to be nerfed in the next update.... making it subpar to other anti tank launchers. People will stop using it and go back to the meta launchers (Spear/EAT)

They won't nerf it, they will fix a bug, I know you don't care but terminology is important. Commando still will have a spot in the game,

What like the railgun,slugger,liberator penetrator,erupter(still no where near pre nerf levels),Xbow,breaker ect??

Also the stalwart actually had a spot in the game before they decided to "fix" (nerf)the Erupter....

Side-shooting a fabricator and killing it with one ♥♥♥♥ while EAT/recoilless cant seems pretty OP or at the very least a bug. Doubt damage and pen will be nerfed as 2 commando rockets equal 1 eat damage worth (roughly) and is quite fair

its not a bug, they just copy pasted spear hidden stat into the weapon, so it have the same demolition damage and reach the fabricator breakpoint, but this is unintended to their side, and now they want to nerf it.
i call this incompetence at this point.
just a daily reminder that nobody play slugger and railgun because these weapon are useless after their nerf, commando will just be outmatched by EAT in everything, its another useless weapon after the nerf
they dont play their own ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game at all...

It's not a bug since it's working EXACTLY as coded. Same way when Arc Thrower got a buff to its stagger force and was able to stun Hulks. That's not code behaving in a way it shouldn't, it's just a matter of one value exceeding another as written. So yes, a nerf is exactly what this will be.

I'll probably still use it because the guidance system makes it more accurate than EATs for me. Still annoyed at this incompetence though.

Whole teams aren't spamming the Commando to the exclusion of all else. It's not the same situation.

It's not like the game got easier because of the commando and so now everyone brings the commando. I play many games with randoms where no one brings it. I still far prefer the spear over it because I don't have to track gunships.

I just don't at all see it imbalanced as it is. Maybe it wasn't intended, but call it a happy accident, recognize it hasn't unbalanced the game and leave it as it is. I don't even use the commando and I don't see the point in changing it as it exists now.

You should test the Eruptor, Crossbow, Railgun, it's amazing how you complain about things that now work great. Slugger, breaker?, what's wrong with them?

what do you mean a bug? It's an anti-tank weapon. The recoilless, SPEAR and EAT can destroy fabricators too, far as i know.

Yeah in the vents or the door but not from behind or the side

No, the AT weapons were always able to do that, far as i know? Explosive weapons like the grenade launcher, grenades, eruptor, etc, need to go in vents, because their AP is too low to penetrate fabricator, but the AT weapons have enough AP to penetrate the walls, like the 110mm rockets, the eagle airstrike, precision strike, artillery, etc.

So you want to say its ok that the commando can kill it, even if it this the back, but the quasar and eat not

You want to say that the railgun a weapon without backpack and fast reload should be better then the recoilless.

You want to say it was good that the erruptor could 1 hit chargers.

Why not add a weapon that nukes the whol map and you win in 10sec

Ok maybe im stupid but i got 200h and i never shot a fabricator with a eat or quasar from behind or the sides and it got destroyed, and i never saw a other player do it that way.

Hmm, looks like that's my bad. Seems like only the SPEAR could do it. Still, do we know what the AP value of the commando is? I know it has lower damage than the EAT, so it might have a higher AP value to compensate. Possibly on the blast damage, since that has a lower blast radius.
