So according to this, HD2 isn't behind, but is indeed AHEAD of schedule.
- 2 mechs released for free
- 4 new stratagem weapons (HMG, airburst RPG, M202 Commando, Quasar) for free
- 2-3 new biomes introduced for free
- new mechanics & modifs (e.g. laser-guided rockets, storms) & ship upgrades for free
- 2 new enemy types with corresponding objectives & factory \ hive structures for free
- approx. 19 new weapons where you can get at least some for free if you play the game*
- I'm too lazy to even count the grenades, armors or skins (some also for free)
*you probably got plenty of those especially if you've played before the SC-drop-nerf
So yeah... one might want to rethink on how he's crying about the HD2 content drops.
Also you people want things fast. They get released fast (and broken) and then you complain stuff get released broken. So studios try to finish stuff before releasing, which takes time, so then you complain there's no new stuff to play with fast enough... for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake.
This post also goes for every "no meaningful updates 4 game since ever, omg" poster
Really, it can't possibly be that the patrol spawns were broken for three months. It's the lack of vehicles.
Whoever that was, AFAIR both scout car and APC both:
- handled pretty... rough
- weren't even fully textured
So yeah... they weren't ready. And see, finishing textures is a much smaller feat than actually making those vehicles handle well and be usable & balanced on current biomes.
