I think the Sony review bomb attracted a lot of Karens to the game thinking the game's whole culture is screaming at the manager because the burger restaurant doesn't serve pizza. High school starting back up and other controversies in other games will pull them away because, frankly, this game's community is too sane to house people like this for very long.
that is because they are sheep following the crowd. the problem with people now is that they are scared to have an opinion and complain about everything.
I do think you're one of the community participants that actually thinks for themselves after reading more of your stuff, even if we differ on a few points. That's absolutely fine. But I see so many other people in here that echo the same three talking points and generally just seem to be following the crowd.
They crumble and resort to "no, u" if you challenge their beliefs and they don't accept any rationalization for game changes even if they're logical and make sense. I'm sorry if I was overly confrontational and accused you of being one of the lobotomites- again, I'm working on it
I don't get into spreadsheets- I'm not gonna pretend like I know what perfect numbers would work perfectly for each weapon for each enemy across this entire game; I just use weapons for their marketed purpose and it's either "Yeah this works as expected" or "This doesn't work as expected". I just play the game, pretty much.
that was because of the companies ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing with sony not nerfs
im not talking about song. im talking about nerfs tho
there is a difference between stay quiet and constant complaining about how a game is not to their tastes when it was created for high difficulty
EDIT you literally can hardly find an article, blog, post, video, or comment about HD2 that doesn't mention nerfs(for, against, or ambivalent) both prior and after may(excluding discord which seems to have acted as some weird kind of echo chamber)
Bruh. IM only talking about nerfs not the song bs
Kid? im 22 years old
Kill enemies with OVERPOWERED WEAPONS.
Says so on the box.
So stop putting your masochistic fetishes into a game thats marketed as a horde shooter with overpowered weapons.
my guy play helldivers 1. you will see. if you want to kill with "overpowered weapons" go lower level simple. Also that is clearly advertisement
Ah, the "just lower difficulty" argument that doesn't increase the strength of weapons in the slightest and is just borne out of the lack of actual arguments.
I dont'care for Helldivers 1, so go play that if it's so good.
I do care for Helldivers 2 since I play this, and it's getting worse with each patch.
And saying it's clearly advertisement, there's something about advertisements that make people buy things.
So if you advertise A and then sell C, you're falsely advertising and thus it is grounds for a lawsuit.
People bought the game because they wanted to shoot bugs with weapons that feel overpowered.
That is why over 400k players on Steam have already gone away, because what the game advertised is not how the game played.
You can continue going on with your lame statements that HD2 is some sort of "dark souls-shooter" and is supposed to be "difficult" but thats you sticking your fingers in your ears going 'lalalalalalalala' like a little kid.
The game isn't difficult. It's tedious.
So stop trying to equate tedious with difficult.
