People have all kinds of theories and justifications for the waning playerbase: from bugs to hardship to nerfs etc.

I just happen to have a much more mundane explanation, and much simpler - though obvious:
- it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupidly hard to just find a match. Every time I have to roam through 3-5 planets just to find a joinable game, it's not even funny;
- match shows up, only 1 person. I click - nope, match is full
- match shows up, SOS enabled, I click... private match;
- another match shows up, I throw the cursor over it... doesn't even let me click, it's just bugged. And it will stay there for as long as I leave the game open, even after a few matches.

But the VAST majority of times, no matches show up AT ALL!
E.G.: right now, 16k_ players on Pandion... only *1* freaking match showing on lvl 10, ONE on lvl 9, NONE on 8, just a couple on 7, etc. etc. and I'm sure that as soon as I click on one, some ♥♥♥♥ will happen that won't let me join. Or else it will crash when joining.

- "Then Create your own", someone will say!
Oh right, and then no one will join because... the same ♥♥♥♥ will happen to others, little genius!

Dunno about you guys but I find no fun in spending 5-10 minutes just to find a joinable match, play half a map then see the host leave.

How can we find the game fun when we can't find a freaking match?
No wonder we're losing divers.

I have no problem finding matches. I never join SOSes however, I always use quick play or start my own game, and people always join when I start my own games.

Takes me about 30 seconds to a minute for someone to join. Really not that bad~

Need more content imo. Warbonds are kinda lame as content drips. I think the game will get new life when they release the third enemy race.

You forgot the one where you quickplay on a set difficulty then it drops you into a game 3 difficulties below the one you selected. This happens literally all the time, just yesterday, was matching for 6, got dropped into 3 despite the fact that the planet had 6k helldivers.

I have no problems finding matches, the issue for me is whenever the game decides to pull a ♥♥♥♥ you and kick the lobby for no reason. never once encountered this "impaler crash" bug but whatever AH did in that patch brought back random disconnects.
