A stun grenade and like 30 rounds of the hmg to the rear of a charger and it dies. like 30-50 rounds to the sack of a bile and it dies. The loadout just wrecks bugs. I really don't understand people still crying about nerfs. It never impacted my performance. As soon as precision strike got a call in reduction I insisted on incorporating it to my loadouts. Precision strike can get 2 for 1 on chargers.
I'd assume its next in line after the dominator (again).
Then again, considering the Blitzer's bugs are all still there, i'm somewhat convinced that the only reason it's not nerfed yet is because AH genuinely forgot it existed.
Because they are incompetent. They've already done this circus act with a number of weapons.
Firebreaker released in a useless state, then got a buff, followed by a recent nerf.
Flamethrower received multiple buffs, then got nerfed recently.
Slugger had buffs followed by nerfs.
(Honest to god though I do like the Blitzer as a weapon if anything the Sickle needs a buff but everytime someone tells me its good they get like 20 kills per mission, constantly have to swap because it overheats in like 4 seconds, and it deals piss damage if it even hits)
You wouldn't want to decrease the strength of your shot by doing something as silly as taking a step backwards...would you? :P
Arc Blitzer does pretty well against shriekers tbf. Not as good as a regular shotgun, but generally better than ARs or SMGs. Unless you're shooting them at long range, for some reason.
So its better to wait for them to come down and attack you then to shoot them out of the sky with a AR or SMG
