Nonspecific Objectives are frustrating, not fun.
I understand what you probably wanted from it. Less "direct to point", maybe even a "there would be no way to know for sure this spot is where it should be" or even "Teamwork!"

Whatever the case. I just want you to know that running around for 6 minutes on a foggy, low visibility map for 6 minutes out of my 40 minute mission trying to find an objective is in no way fun, immersive, or "team-building", its just frustrating to missions that already involve tons of running around.

If they want to put Atmospheric Spores, the least they can do is mandate a Radar Station secondary, maybe give it a steady ping as an audio cue to it.

What objectives are you referring to in particular? Do you mean the mission modifier where it only gives you the area an objective is in?

My guess is the nuke nursery. You have to run around quite a bit. In bad planet it can be really, really, really frustrating.

I was once there in the night time, bad fog result in -90% visibility and can't do a thing because up my brightness more will kill my eye in the well lid area.

When will they address hoard shooter is not need Doom 3 darkness without flashlight?

Are you talking about side objectives? they're not really that important. And the important side objectives will make themselves known since it will attack you.

I will admit I have failed a few missions solo because I just couldnt find the damn nest

For all of these, I would just say use your eyeballs.

The nurseries are obvious because it has a bunch of bug holes despite not being a nest.

Side objects that aren't marked on the map have large towers which are visible from a distance.

On the mission modifier for bots which makes locations ambiguous, there are key landmarks or land formations which make their location obvious. Even for the geological study, which I would say is the hardest to find with obscured objectives, is distinctly located in uncharacteristic valleys or pits.

lack of terrain, procedural generation + they've always crashed their cyber truck.

I think it's the modifier that gives objectives a range they can be in (like the "Nuke Nursery" objectives) instead of just having the exact location.

I really wish there were some positive modifiers that would come and go.

I don't have much issues seeing with mist, landmarks are pretty visible to make out even in the worst visibility planets. It could be my graphics settings, I turned down volumetric fog and bloom and I remember that helping.

But the radar station doesnt reveal the main objective location when in poor intel modifier. I think this is overlook by dev and should be change
