Dang, so lvl 140 means nothing?
Just dove into a game with a 133 140 and a 141

None of them brought anti-heavy.
None of them brought ANYTHING to deal with the heavy armored enemies.

The result?
Me desperatly trying to take down 4 biles, 11 behemoths, and constantly launching rockets to save them from their foolish choice.

The result?
I am permanently out of ammo, THEY call in the resupply, I get nothing.

Now with no anti-heavy we lose 9 reinforcements in TWO minutes.

Now with half the budget gone, I am pretty fed up.

What happens next.

~Host pings a heavy charger, while wielding his stalwart/backpack combo as if It's my sole job to kill ALL of the enemies"

Now note, they haven stolen EVERY resupply from me until this point, and I cannot shoot.

My response.

"yeah shoot it FFS WTF is wrong with you?"

Left right after, and moved on with life.

So why is the "META" important?

Because your HIGH LEVEL TEAMMATES are not in any way BETTER with bad loadouts.

High level players are actually some of the worst players I have met.

Sad but true.

GL with your "no heavy weaponry" loadouts.
They're a ****ing insult to your anti-heavy guy who now has to do 4 peoples worth of work solo.

lol luckily games like this are VERY rare.
1 in a hundred.
But damn......Was funny and frustrating to see a whole squad of higher levels with abysmal loadouts.
Cest la vie.

Sure not , I mean I can tell the difference, when I see a commander in LVL 14, you are 140, so it's "zero" different to me.

Which loadouts did they have?

Levels beyond 25 does not matter. That's the last requirement for being able to buy everything.

Which loadouts did they have?
Two were running Jetpack/stalwart.

One of these two had an EMS sentry and an eagle (The flame drop one)

The other of those 2 also had an EMS sentry, but had a HMG turret for his 4th.

The final guy was running Supply backpack (Hence why all the supplys were gone, he was reloading himself but not handing them out) Anti-material rifle(Not great against heavy bugs) With a flame eagle drop, and a mortar sentry

I saw this, and tried to compensate.
Brought commando, 500KG, EAT, and a Spear.
(Went full anti-heavy because they had so little it was gonna be insane without it)

None of them picked up the eats/commands, even after I told them they're for eveyrone.
They wanted to use THEIR third weapon slot. (Which was why we kept getting overwhelmed by heavies)
Because 2 stalwarts, and an AMR do not take down 10+ behemoths, or 3 bile titans.

So I was juggling eat's, a commando, a 500 KG eagle, and a spear and slaughtering every single heavy thing I could see.

Needless to say, that was one of the heaviest games I've ever been a part of, and leaving it felt like a HUGE relief.

It's not so much the level it's the fact that by now we all have our favourite loadouts. The 3 guys you had probably weren't together and didn't bother looking looking at each others loadouts before the mission started. I always check what people are carrying before readying up. Crowd control is my specialty so I am not the anti armour guy and if I see that nobody else is bringing AT then I'll either switch or just find another lobby. Doesn't happen much though. AT builds are pretty popular which lets me bring my bugzapper.

hahahaha noob.... its your skill the issue...
Once you learn how to use heavy weapons you dont need any tank weapon
DuuD Jul 9, 2024 @ 9:31am
I'm not sure if the previous person even read your post but I do agree that expecting a single player to take on all the heavies is asking for trouble. I make it a point to always bring an EAT on the bug side unless I'm running the QC to take pressure off the players bringing RR/Spears.

I both agree with this and @OP.

I'm sure zero matters too.

To put it simply, experience and familiarity are both important. We can change strategies, but experience is always priceless.
blankitosonic Jul 9, 2024 @ 9:59am
Yeah that sucks
Thats always in bug side i go with QC no matter what , 500kg and orbital gatling , and laser guardian dog , not being sticking much with the party to not do much FF , i was confy with that build , using light gunner armor
But with bots im trying almost everygame what is better to make the game more smooth , QC there not help much , the best i tryed was counter sniper as primary , long magazine pew pew pistol ( dont know if it the best ) , and HMG suits better for all these annoying Devas and hulk's limbs ( shoot in the eye is pretty hard with that weapon xd )
Shield backpack and medium armor with fortify because all these supress bot fire , EMP mortar saves a lot in bot mission without killing party , leaving me with only 1 offensive strat , that one that im testing what its better for diff 4 to 6
