Very effective in:
- SWAMP
- SNOW (deep snow almost everywhere)
- RED MOSS map
- ORANGE BRICK map (so many puddles)
MUST HAVE: full supplies on drop, stamina enhancer
GOOD TO HAVE: health bonus, meth stims, muscle enhancer
SITUATIONAL: +50% radar range for grinding, +1 reinforce per player on eradicate / wall defense
WASTED SLOT: 15% faster extraction, 10% faster reinforcement cooldown, anti-acid (worse than muscle enhancer), 10% higher cooldown between enemy reinforcements
-faster extraction is pointless as the slot would be better used for something to increase team survivability to ensure extraction.
-faster reinforcement regen is a: hilariously inefectual b: is entirely useless until the mission is already going very bad
-anti-acid reduces the duration of acid slow, muscle enhancer reduces the effect of slow in general
-localization confusion doesn't help against patrols and bases
potential ways to fix the wasted slots:
-instead of faster extraction, allow the shuttle to be called in before mission completion and lock it to air support mode until mission completion
-allow reinforcement regen as soon as any are lost with the following scaling: many left <==> slow regen and few left <==> fast regen
-acid-slow immunity
-localization confusion should reduce patrol amounts aswell
- Radar booster on bug missions where the minimap is blocked by atmospheric spores,
- Extraction timer reduction on missions where extraction is activated on objective completion, and not controlled by a timer.
- 'Localisation Confusion' (reduced time between enemy reinforcements) on missions where reinforcements are mandatory (wall defence, elimination). Assuming it does anything for those mission types, one benefit might be that it contributes some time to stratagem cooldowns?

I like the sound of this one. The current reinforcement regen timer is 2 minutes without the booster, and about 1:48 with the timer. So in its current state the squad have to lose their entire reinforcement budget for a booster slot to give them 12 seconds for a single reinforcement point.
If things are that bad it's probably already time for extraction or time to give up. With your idea they can maintain their reinforcement budget if things are going well, which they probably would have done anyway. While a less capable team wont be able to maintain their budget and start dying too quickly - but at least everyone gets something all the time.
The REAL booster meta is: Localization Confusion, UAV Recon Booster, Motivational Shocks & Expert Extraction Pilot. Anything else is nothing but a safety net & compensating for lack of skill.
Vitality Enhancement? Increased Reinforcement Budget? Flexible Reinforcement Budget? Just don't get hit lol...
Stamina Enhancement? You're gonna have to go prone to avoid detection anyway lol.
Hellpod Space Optimization? Learn to avoid fights, aim your shots, git gud, lol.
Experimental Infusion? Get out of jail for free card. Baby mode, skill issue, git gud lol.
Sarcasm aside, just let people take anything they want and make do with what you have.
Youre not the HD2 police, so mind not telling players how they should play the game THEY paid for?
Those are always no-brainer picks as they will see great mileage no matter what.
And then you have the very situational ones that apply once or twice per mission, that would be decent niche picks... if their effects weren't so mild.
Expert Extraction Pilot? It shaves off what, not even twenty seconds from the extraction timer? Compare to Stamina Booster which always allows you to sprint more often AND make you move slightly faster when you're not using light armor.
Increased Reinforcement Budget? You only feel its effect if you keep wiping. And by that point, chance are four extra reinforcements aren't going to cut it.
Flexible Reinforcement Budget is even more of a joke. It cuts the cooldown for reinforcements when they are depleted by twelve seconds.
Some balancing work could be done on them so they don't feel like joke picks.
Those are the easiest missions.
Just kick people not using good boosters. If they pick nonsense like this, it shows they'll drag team down because they're bad players probably bad at game.
