Im on 6600xt and 1440p. Low 50fps while my other mates has a 3060 and 2070, making my GPU better.

Also, I get more fps on DX11 than on DX12.

The game is just poorly optimized. Even people on the game's subreddit complain about this. Don't worry.

Switch launch options to DX11 and frequently delete the game's shader cache

i find that the hi res breaks most games. try 3840*2160 or 1 lower. then max out the graphics.

They really did some voodoo ♥♥♥♥.

I was getting below 60 fps in high settings and now i get above 70 stable fps.
On the other hand you have people with pc x3 times more powerfull than mine getting -30 fps... what type of warhammer technomancer do they have developing?

Tnx guys, i will try all solution....i hope min 60+ fps ..

i am almost 100% sure this is a hi res 4 k thing. not sure why in only helldivers, butt..
good friend of mine just got a new i9 with 4090.... beautiful 4k monitor... in 4k res on ultra even he was at 40fps. soon as he dropped it as i said before, perfect on ultra. hope it sorts out the fps. cant help with the DC and crashes.
to further.. i am running i7 9700 with a 2080 super. 80 - 100 fps. on 3840*2160 (i think) Ultra.. so figure that out.

7950X and 4090 here, playing on a 4k monitor that can do 240Hz (but I have it set to 120hz because the GPU has issues with 3x high refreshrate monitors + high refreshrate VR headset).
FPS is about 60-120, depending on what's going on, at very intense fights with hundreds of enemies, it dips down to ~60 sometimes, most of the time it stays above 90 FPS.

Most of the time you are CPU bound.

PS: Native 4k and everything maxed out (except motion blur, that stuff is just ugly).

I have a similar problems sometimes. What fixes it for me is Switch from Borderless Window(or just Windowed) to Fullscreen or vice-versa. It's important that it switches from Window(no matter which type) or Fullscreen to the other type.

what's wrong with the game is that you are lying

hope this helps

+1 something odd here

i try dx11 and its same.....but now i try 2k all ultra (only render distanc low ) and supersampling (so is not native res) and i get 50-65 ..on small maps about 90 ..and graphic look stuning....so i will play on supersampling...same fps as low .....lol

Have you tried deleting the shader cache? That's what does it for me, get like 30 fps easy from it

Typically, people don't seem to see that particle physics simulations on high resolutions, and post-filters, and the volumetric effects -- all can individually tank the fps on any rig, given that you have high enough resolution.

So even if you have a pretty good graphics card, you should probably aim for a compromise between high resolution and dense effects. Putting the "quality slider" up to max as well is going to avoid most of the downscaling, even on the intermediate rendering steps (that you won't notice anyway). And that's going to give you variable framerate.

That being said, Sony is notorious for adding these per pixel filters for colour correction on top of everything as a.. actually who knows why.. but probably to make things look similar on all platforms. In Horizon, for example, there was a filter for a very long time that caused all kinds of difficulties on medium to high end rigs in high resolutions, because of that. Another typical problem is temporal aliasing, because it will have a doubling of a buffer - and that's going to be a huge hit on 4k. No Man's Sky had a vaseline filter on the screen for the game's first 8 years. That sort of thing is Sony in a nutshell.

Still - it doesn't seem to be this that is going on in HD2. Because you can turn down volumetric effects, post-processing/AA/MSAA, enable the balancing slider a bit, and hit 120fps in 1440p type resolutions.

4k, though? Probably not.
