Is single player worth it?

I'm trying to play this game but I don't have anyone to play it with and it feels like the enemies are no easier than having a full team. Honestly, with the way some of this game works I have a hard time feeling like I got my money's worth.

Heldivers is a co-op centric game, you can play with randoms but it is not intended for a solo experience

Playing with people is the best way to play, solo isnt worth it unless you want a challenge

Absolutely. Its more fun with friends but solo can be a lot of fun too. My issue is when I want to play solo friends constantly join anyway lol. Then you either play with them or have that awkward convo asking them to leave or kick. They really need a private setting.

Works great and makes stealth a lot more viable. Set it to "friends only" and go "invisible" in steam.

No man if you want to enjoy this game friend is recommend requirement.
And willing to use matchmaking is the minimum requirement.

Just use MM, your experience may be a mixed bag, but it's still infinitely better than trying to play a stealth game on the game that's not designed for it.

This is horrible solo. It's literally no fun to play this alone.

I've solo'ed multiple Helldive (hardest difficulty) operations against the bots (which, in my opinion, are the easier faction to solo). Totally doable and really makes you feel like a guerrilla fighter stuck behind enemy lines.

Still enjoy playing with others but it's nice to take a break and do a stealthy approach.

Only problem with that is the servers are such doo doo right now it takes forever to get into a game. I really feel like they need to add in AI team mates but it's a live service game so not setting my expectations too high.

Solo is viable and fun, difficulty doesn't seem to be effected by player count but IDK.

Yes but you won't be able to play on harder difficulties for long. But it's very easy for people to join your game and it's very easy to coordinate with pings. Pick it up. It's fun!

There are so many people playing this game that the servers are literally full. How can you not find anyone to play with?
