Higher difficulties also reward more medals on mission completion.
Generally speaking if you're loot farming, just stick to difficulty 7.
No. Less spawns because the samples eat the spawn pool the best way to earn SC and medals fast is Difficulty 1 with a Friend for the co-op bunker doors. you clear the map in about 6-7 minutes and can get 4-11 medals each time along with 20-50 SC 900R and 300 exp
Given how completely screwed up the weapon and strat balance is this is the least surprising thing out of anything tbh. The pick up rewards don't scale with difficulty and are static so play on the smallest map for the fastest completion as the point of interest generation is fixed. The higher the difficulty the more bases spawn not points of interest. So just go to the tiny as hell level 1 maps. Not to mention I'm going to add this ontop of it you get more exp and Req per hour doing this then playing the game normally. clearing a suicide mission takes about 40 minutes burning the timer out. you get 4k req and 700-900 exp. Meanwhile you could get almost 3.5x more Req and exp for just running level 1 missions in 7 minutes for 40 minutes XD
