I hate video game logic when it comes to rockets so much... They aren't freaking slow.
On the bright side, you can always compensate the slow speed from the gyro bullets of the Eruptor by aiming at the ground near enemies. The explosion will take care of mobs and armored.
I would bump it to 8 in a mag, drop the total ammo from 12 to 10 magazines and lower the bullet drop since it already has heavy bullet travel time to 'balance' it.
You are sacrificing your primary for something that doesn't do a good job at anything really. That's my opinion from testing it in two missions only. It's so cumbersome to use...you can literally acquire targets faster with Quasar...Feels like I'm aiming a 20pound cowbell at my enemies.
But at the same time, it handles worse than most support weapons, has a glacial rate of fire, only 5 rounds per mag, its range is short (the bullets airburst after quite a short distance, short enough that standing at one end of a bot control tower base I couldn't hit a fabricator at the opposite side).
Its strengths are very strong, but its weaknesses are similarly extreme. I'm on the fence as to whether I actually like it or not, I'm erring towards "no". Once I have the other weapons unlocked and I have more sources of explosive damage, I suspect I'll stop using it.
