G-123 Thermite is the most pointless nade so far.
"capable of burning through som armor" is just a lie. unless the devs mean the famous wet paper armour that everyone is running around it. because it sure as hell doesn't work on anything i've thrown it at so far. i even let it burn itself out, just ran around a rock waiting for it to do anything to the enemy. other than making a pretty spark on the face of the enemy, nothing happened. was this not tested before they added it? no wait, not testing stuff and letting playerbase yell at them for a few weeks before they nerf it is what these devs do best. good job dev team.

I mean the top .000001 mm of armor is some.

I stuck one on a shield devastators arm gatling gun, literally did nothing. It shouldve burnt off that arm entirely.

If i had to take a guess, its probably bugged. Theres no way they tested these grenades and were like "yeah its a good grenade that belongs in the arsenal of the helldivers"

If it did that it would actually be good. Like instead of dealing lots of damage it just reduces the armor value on the area it hits, so something might go from medium armor to light armor in the area burned by the grenade.

Like most things in the game, it'd incredibly misleading

Like the anti tank launcher being not at all an anti tank or the anti material rifle only being able to penatrate medium armor (less they changed that in one of the patches I can't remember)

So far this whole warbonds been kind of just, can't even aim the assault rifle, the adjudicator, straight in semi mode. Which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad.

The timer is no longer 4 minutes as negative modifiers were nerfed. It is 3 minutes now.

So we did multiple tests with the thermite.

2 for a tank
2 for a hulk.
2 for a charger leg destruction, 1 shot with an eruptor afterwards.
6+ for a bile titan (Inconclusive testing.)
1 for a bug hole
1 for a fabricator
Need to be the host for the burn damage.

It's not BAD but it definitely needs some tuning.

In no way could they be better than stun nades. The ability to stun an entire wave +hulks and titans is what saves runs sometimes
