So many people kicking on extract...

Getting really tired of hosts who kick everyone at extract after we all just put in 30 mins to full clear the map just to f*ck people over. Kick option needs to be disabled when you hit the beacon or something, or time the host out if it detects excessive kicking, or if kicked in a certain timeframe still give rewards or something. There needs to be SOME recourse to combat the douchebags that do this.

no, there are plenty of ways to deal with it once we start marking repeat kickers. join a QP with a repeat kicker? I instantly leave without a word. beyond a shadow of a doubt, if you marked repeat kickers this kind of behavior would vanish overnight. IDGAF about "hosts".

So I guess my base argument is. If you can't show a net negative. There is no reason to change the current system. You mentioned adding better resource tracking weeks before so it's not such a huge waste. Again. I am 100% for that. But no system is 100% perfect so.

You edited your earlier post where you explicitly had an entire paragraph making a strawman counterargument on why the kicking system shouldn't be removed, when that's clearly what I'm alluding to when I talk about your reading comprehension issues. It's just so childish and ridiculous.

Doubting people who claim they were kicked in the middle of a mission for 'no reason' is one thing. But these people claim they were kicked alongside the rest of the squad at the end of a mission or on the Pelican. Do you think these people just want attention on the forums and all decided to invent that they got kicked at extraction? Where is the intellectual empathy? Do you realise the developers already acknowledged the kicking problem last month and asked for advice on twitter on what to do about it?


Edit: This guy must just be a forum goblin, editing post-conversation the section where he talks explicitly and only about removal of the kicking system and then giving me a jester so he doesn't look like a complete clown. It's nothing short of hilarious that people like this exist. Just block and don't engage with the forum creature.

In 150h I've never been kicked in general, let alone at extract.

You do realise that only a small fraction of any given player base interacts with the forums and discussion boards for any given game right? Those numbers are verifiable with plenty of data having been collected on the subject.

So since math seems to be as hard for you as words let me break it down for you. If a relatively small percentage of players are likely to engage with a discussion board but a large % of the boards daily posts are about a particular issue then it tends to indicate an issue affects a larger number of players than just the ones complaining about it. Not less. But statistical analysis is hard.

And yeah. The "reason" you want to block me is I'm using your own contradicting statements to dismantle your arguments and you don't like it because it makes you look like a clown. Lol.

I think there should be a timer. If you have been in the mission longer than 5 minutes, you cannot be kicked, or there should be a vote to kick option after 5 minutes

I think it's best for now to put in a hotfix to allow variable rewards if you are kicked, depending on how long you've been in the mission. So, no rewards if you've just joined a mission that's about to extract. Full rewards if you got kicked at extraction while participating in the full mission. It should disincentivize trolling sufficiently.

They can then focus on a long term fix, though they need to avoid any kind of abuse that might be possible regarding farming of materials and it needs to not open up new kinds of trolling.

Are you one of those that tried to extract before everyone showed up?

I've had an abundance of groups try to leave without me recently and frankly F you all for doing that, don't join someones game if you plan to screw them over as well.

I wonder why people are getting booted with that kind of behaviour.

Forgetting to check why people are being kicked was the mistake many are making.

When it happens I return to ship alone now.

Had this happen to me yesterday the lvl 80 helped us was nice in chat and what not and at the end basically said im sorry for doing this but you all suck and one by one kicked us all out on extract. There probably needs to be a vote or a inactivity timer that allows it
