wear explosive resist armor, medium or heavy. If you wear light armor don't complain about getting killed by rockets.

Unfortunately, you end up learning the same lesson the devastators do: shields don't make you immune to getting knocked around by explosions.

heavy devastators are 10x worse than the rocket ones.

Rocket devastator are fun but then come big daddy with his shield and his LMG which, somehow, have the accuracy of a sniper rifle half way through the map.

Heavy devastators are more dangerous pound-for-pound, but rocket devastators ragdolling you from 100 meters away I find infinitely more aggravating.

I would if it didn't suck ass. It only protects from bullets (and not even melee), and only works when aiming down sights. With the recent buffs, at least the shield isn't literally useless at protecting Helldivers from the front, but it's still a giant boat anchor.
