The “drama” is a community manager blocked a notorious alt-right troll and con artist from their personal twitter account, and his fragile ego was so bruised by their refusal to give him attention that he sent his followers on a crusade to get her fired.
Always was.
Then XQC wasn't a pro gamer who was in fact a pro gamer.
Then Grummz being alt-right, when he is openly supporting unions in the gaming industry.
Finally not being a game developers, when he literally was leading the development teams of Diablo 2 and World of Warcraft. :D
IDK how to talk with people, who ignore facts stearing them in the face.
Reasonable? You proved my point for me! The second I made it clear I don't agree with you or this woke agenda you made it very clear you would no longer treat me reasonably! Your "INCLUSIVITY" only extends to those who espouse the same ideology as you!
You are incredibly high strung over Overwatch’s terrible reception in eSports.
You may as well be telling me his favourite colour is green for all the relevance this has to what was said.
He didn’t “lead” anything. He was the developer equivalent of a shift manager on those projects, and that was also 20 years ago. He’s so devoid of success that he’s still trying to piggy back off that association 20 years after they fired him.
Why hire a Community Manager, if he is able to cause Splits inside the Community by design? Why keep a Community Manager, who not only split the Community, but is unable to unite the community again.
This is a business scenario and we are costumers! Nobody asks to fire this person, but a reasonable thought would be to rotate some Mods inhouse and give them Position they actually excel at instead of causing the OPPOSITE.
It would be nice to see the Ban-Lists or at least have a neutral Arrowhead Employee looking into the Banlists. Banning so much people and closing so much threads/discussions on various Platforms shows there is something horribly wrong:
because lets be real, a simple statement on Day One after the Accusations would have kept the harmony and we would only talk about the game. A Community Manager should excel at Communication! This is still a Business Scenario.
Looking rather suspicious there, my guy.
You're not saying you support this kinda thing, do you????
