HELLDIVERS™ 2

Lore discussion. "Helldivers" Super Earth military doctrine. We are totaly in charge.
It came to me what SE military doctrine is actyaly pretty cost-effective.
We have light destroyers, which coordinate up to 4, with some offensive and support capabilities, each carry minimal crew, one strike jet, meatwagon and some frosen goods labeled as "Helldivers". They act mostly as spotters of ground targets so SE can blast everything from orbit with minimal investment in human resourses. To keep Helldivers motivated they, ofcourse, totaly in charge of said destroyer and can choose destination from coordinates, generously provided by military command of Super Earth. Yes, Helldivers in charge, Loyality officer is just for moral support. We also doing things with minimal investments! Only 4 stratagems will be operational per destroyer at set operation. Heddivers even share equipment armory in case previos ones was not democratic enouth and MIA.

Ps. Accidentaly connected to 4 after 9, fell asleep. Bring back murderbots QQ

I don't think it's efficient, it's just that SE has so many resources and they exploit so many planets and civilizations that it really doesn't matter if they're efficient or not.

And while the "procreation permits" are humorous, that may be an indication that they have a ridiculous amount of people in SE, so it doesn't even matter if they lose hundreds of thousands of helldivers everyday.
I'd say its efficent in terms of material, and in terms of people.
it takes 20 or so people to wipe out massive strategic targets with minimum damage to the planets and land itself.

From my understanding of the lore, every Helldiver is legitimately insane. They were probably thought criminals that got sent to reeducation camps and now are willing to die for Democracy.

No that's just the power of unmitigated propaganda from birth.

We're not in charge, we're ammunition.

Ah yes, "cost effective." True; I've never seen a more cost effective way to wage needless war across the galaxy than millions of clones developed in the depths of space far away from any reasonable resources.
