best primary to take out charger

atm i using the flame shotgun which do job just fine but i wonder is there decent primary weapon to take out charger

Weapons that catch it on fire may help. Probably better to let a heavy armor buster try and help though.

The new explosive primary sniper with the new warbond can take out the legs of Chargers. At least right now. If the developers dont change it, you will get a weapon for it soon.

The only primary that can take it out in reasonable time and ammo is the that plasma explosive shotgun thingy that fires like a plasma grenade launcher.

5 shots of the plasma punisher to its butt, but new warbond weapons are coming out that may be great options too.

I find the Breaker Incendiary does just fine because in a hairy situation you can fire at it from nearly any direction and some pellets will hit a weak spot plus the burning adds up.

It doesn't really matter what weapon can take it out the fastest under optimal conditions because those are conditions that don't matter.

Burn dmg is buggy. If you are not the host, half of the enemies wont get hurt by it. Chargers belong to this group.

2-3 impact grenades under the Charger belly does the job for me if I don't have a support weapon or shooting the back would take too long.

Same for hulks, 3-4 impact grenades between the legs usually takes them down.

Yes but you need to shoot under the chargers head and belly to get the splash dmg to get him and it takes like 2 clips till you get good.

Incendiary breaker is THE best primary to do that.

Pops butt in less than half of a mag.

2nd and 3rd choices would be Dominator and Scorcher.
