No, it's a legit tip with some humor on top. Go buy that armor. It actually makes a world of difference. If there's pay2win in this game against bots then this armor is it.

Until you realize that light armors are meta. You know whats better than resisting getting hit? Not getting hit at all, light armors are so OP and the eradicator in particular has one of the best passives for bot missions, I highly recommend you try it, you will be surprised by how much survivability you will gain. There is nothing wrong with using medium or heavy armors, just don't sleep on light armors.
