Unironic Promotion of Fascism in This Game?

Why it's suddenly okay for a Steam product to promote and glorify literal genocide and conquest? Why hasn't this game been removed off Steam?

"bUT it'S saTIre!11!!", it's quite blatant it really isn't considering the devs featured "managed democracy" while using nazi-like-propaganda in attempt to make us democrats look like we are the ones doing unacceptable things.

It's not even hate in disguise, we all know what devs really meant when the game shows us those cutscenes, when it plays "That's another win for the right side of history!".

The game is trying to make us think it's all a satire but the "hidden" message is clear as day: "democrats bad, they indoctrinate our children, and this what the world would look like with them in full power".

I'm not even mentioning the real meaning behind enslavement and destruction of alien species.

This is just BORDERLINE unethical and immoral.

political obsession. republican vs. democrat was invented to red herring "the people" into being distracted from the real problems in the world. investing your entire identity into said system is hilariously dumb regardless of whether you chose red or blue.

2. It's clearly satirical based on Starship Troopers and their satirical take on "Democracy". Democracy in itself has never worked in reality. We live in a Republic.

There is a difference between a party affiliation and a government. You're just really confused on how reality works and basing it off of uneducated assumptions.

The entire thing is extremely critical of what it portrays. The Helldivers themselves, who according to the propaganda are great heroes, are expendable to Super Earth in practice. They get minimal training, get frozen for transport because they're easier to store that way, and then get launched down into missions where they have sub-par weaponry and the stratagems they throw are almost as likely to kill fellow Helldivers as they are the enemy.

Human life is extremely cheap to Super Earth, and any sense of praise towards the government in-game is propaganda meant to maintain control over both the Helldivers and the general population. The design of the game is all about invoking a sense of immense patriotism, then throwing you into Hell for having fallen for it.

1. We're talking about this game and I don't know every single game on Steam. Don't derail, please. Just because something unacceptable exists doesn't mean other similar things are fine.

Trying to stop the speech in opposition of your purpose is ironic. Trying to stop a game from sharing it's ideals and it's freedom of speech as well.

Do you not see the fascism in your actions? You can't silence what you don't like. I know in Canada that is a normal thing there. We Americans see it as freedom the exact opposite of your actions right now. The foundation of Democracy is the right to speech and the right to agree or disagree. The right to knowledge to make those choices. I know this isn't something Canada has so you might not understand it.

So how can you embrace the ideals of fascism but rail against what you perceive to be fascism? You are right now promoting that which you hate. Totalitarianism, you believe what you believe is right and therefore should be enforced. You are showing what fascism is with your actions unknowingly agreeing with the base foundation of might makes right. To out speak someone, to ignore their point, to push your agenda without compromise.

What you are doing is attempting to BOOK BURN knowledge or things you don't like.

So again I say you don't know what you are talking about.
