Stratagem Hero
Stratagem Hero should be free to use for everyone on their ship.
Especially in the early stages of the game, you will most likely have some problems learning all the codes or simply typing them fast enough in general.

Of course, mid-combat it's problematic either way to type perfectly every time.
But having the option to "warm up" before a mission is a nice thing to have.

For everyone not having access to the Stratagem Hero game:
There are plenty of sites online where you can play it for free in your browser.
Some of them even got more "special" codes, like the codes for the SSD or the Drill.

how come you have all this money for overpriced naruto software but not for premium edition of this game

Yeah, I thought it was just some mini sidegame, but when I saw that it's legitimately practicing strategem inputs I was just baffled that they'd put the ability to practice a core mechanic behind a paywall. Makes me worried that even if they DO add a firing range at some point, you'll have to pay $20 to unlock that, too.

Its not necessary and its really not gonna help you anymore then just playing the game.

You are baffled that a game company monetise premium content? Are you alright?

Not to mention that it has zero impact on the actual game, or the fact that someone who's not a premium user can still use it if you join someone who host as a premium user. That's actually the right way to monetise premium content...

I'm baffled that a mini-game that is just practicing a core gameplay mechanic is pay-walled. What part of that was difficult to understand?

Then your comprehension is to blame. There's nothing unfathomable about locking basic mechanic practice behind a paywall being a sleazy move.

It is almost like every other company on the planet, not even only gaming companies, have to try to get an incentive on buyers for them to have said buyers feel like they should grab paid content.

Business 101.

I hate how they purposely leave it in your ship as reminder for being cheap. At the very least it should just be gone not just turned off and perfectly placed so you have to walk by it everytime . Too bad we cant practice stratagems without paying another 20 , not worth it.

edit: i didnt know there was free website to practice :) yay

Nevermind, it's worse than your comprehension.

I dont think they will do such an EA move in the future to be honest, but I understand your point. I was thinking the same, it is indeed a practice feature.
