There are many ways to play stealthy. It is fine. I have a different mindset and play style on that. E.g. I do not even attempt to kill pursuers. I just outrun them and they despawn. That way I have slots available for more utilities.
For support I use smoke which is not "popular" either despite its heavy effectiveness, especially during extraction.
Orbital Laser is what I recommend with Bots to take out Command Bunkers and clean up heavies. Against the Factory Strider an autocannon is sufficient if you know what you are doing. So I run instead AMR the Eruptor in combination with anti heavy support.
I always wear jump pack for bots and it compliments a stealth build perfectly
I know you can pop off the chin guns but what else?
I think the moment the Factory Strider starts making Devastators is when the back exhausts become open to attacks. At least, that is what I have heard so far.
Senator revolver can one-shot Devastator's head for stealth kill, but has terrible ironsight.
