Have they fixed the cross play for PC and PS5? I still cannot get it working for me.

When I try to add my friend who is on PS5, the friend request never goes through, from either of us. I imagine if I was already friends on the game, it might not be a problem. But the request never shows up for the other person.

I don't get any errors that I can find in any log files though. Maybe the issue is with how Playstation is handling send/receive handshakes in the game environment? Sorry, I just know PLC lingo

I play on a daily basis with strangers who are on PS5. No issues here aside from that you actually notice they are on PS5 due to their hardware.

How does that work though? I don't have the game and I am interested and also have playstation friends. If I was to get it. How would I be able to look them up and vice versa if they are on the playstation?

There is an in-game menu to generate Helldivers 2 Friend codes and connect between PS5 and Steam. It isn't a great system but I have made it work.

Sounds complex =(, I would want to just try and look up their name and go from there but I guess it sounds like you can't do that.

I know the issue you are talking about, the crossplay social was ruined for ages, but from around a week ago or 5 days or so I've been able to add my PS5 friends with no problems now. Just a game error, but they appeared to of have fixed it.

What about messaging them? I mean if I can't add them due to friend codes or something can I at least look up their playstation name and then message them? Can that work? Or no?
