--use-d3d11 gave black screen of death

i did evereythin in the gideon how to stop lag and one of the steps was to use the --use-d3d11 command. now it just does not work. what do i do?

its force the game to use DX 11 . it give you more frames . but make sure your CPU temps are ok and if you have a overclock it stable . the game is rly heavy on CPU . use MSI afterburner to monitor usage and temps

Alright then, maybe verify files with steam, and or delete the files in AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead. (This will remove your settings, try the first before the last.)

Other then that I would have no idea. Hope someone else can provide some help, and get you sorted.

You can use -dx11 too. There are a few commands but the most important thing is to delete the contents of the shader cache at %AppData%\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2\shader_cache
That way you're not using dx12 shaders in Dx11 which will cause all kinds of weird.
