Best way to grind samples?

So far (I have 18 hours and am level 15) in order to grind samples I have been playing short missions that are tiny maps, the ones where you just have to kill bugs/bots, these give 10-15 samples each time, but I feel like this could be improved upon so I could get more of those glorious, democratic samples. Any suggestions?

The highest difficulty you can do with relative ease, for example I can do 7 generally with not to hard of extracts so that's my go to, if yours is 4 or 5 whatever your st currently with ease that'd probably be the best place, one that allows you to explore and grab samples without much effort to clear lol

Rn I usually do level 7, but those are definitely difficult, so I might swap down to 5. should I play solo or with others?

Don't bother and wait for another defense campaign. Then do the mission with the arrow that is inside a shield symbol. Find someone who knows how the mission works and play with them.

Emergency evacuation. Plenty of time to loot the surroundings after the mission.

Try to drop near the secondary objective
Secondary objectives tend to spawn bunched together so you will have a decent chance of finding the radar station early
Then you will be able to see all the locations on the map

I usually do parties, a lot of randoms want samples to, and if they are good at splitting its fast

Solo farming on the shorter missions is how I got my super samples so it's a strategy that can pay off if you can extract.
Getting kicked before extracting is why I went solo.
