PSA: You can have Pelican provide support at extraction

Once you call Pelican and he arrives after timer ends, immediately get outside of the extraction radius (normally you will get warning that extract will be cancelled in 15 seconds, but not in this case if you do it correctly).

He will say a special line, and will hover up indefinitely above the extraction area until you enter the radius again and initiate the landing sequence. He can stay there the ENTIRE game, even if you go and explore the map he will still stay there. However im not sure if he will stay if the destroyer leaves orbit.

I did this once by accident on an eradicate automatons mission. Me and a teammate were stranded up on top of a mountain far away from extract. Pelican came and provided air support until we got close and he landed. That day I also learned that automaton tanks can climb mountains lol.

i think that if Super Destroyer leaves orbit, you better get you ass to the evac in les than 2 mins or he is leaving you on site. saying this, cause that is what happened to me, after mission times runs out and SD leaves orbit, Pelican-01 forces evac, so you better check your timers if you do this.

The other that I didn't learn until latter is you don't have to jump on the Pelican. You can wait at the landing as long as no one enters it won't leave. So you can regroup before going in.
