are they actually "hundreds of worlds" when they all look the same? Planet #1 with global red and fire.... Planet #2 with global brown and dust... etc..
I don't dream for a second that EACH planets will be unique, there just gonna be a biome template, but as long as it's diverse enough (think 10 or more?) isn't fine?

You should really take some time to educate yourself about the development team before criticizing them. You clearly don't have a clue what you are talking about when complaining.
You can immediately tell the difference between Toronto, Tokyo, New York, Chicago, Duabai, Paris, London etc...
Not trying to convince you of anything really, but there are some significant differences within the 'copy'.
