I guess they tried to avoid city maps for that very reason to save performance. Engines like UE5 may be capable of displaying giant open world cities with good frames (via NANITE) but AHs engine is outdated (under the hood in terms of capabilities) and going overboard with the presentation is always a bad idea.
But I agree Cities would be great. I just don’t think we get to see giant cities any time soon.
They've had 100 years since GW1 to grow colonies.
With 15 people it would be kinda hellish cuz it is p2p, right? + imagine fps drops of all eagle strikes...
