With a group you have a lot of options. RR, EATs, rocket sentries, barrages, the 500kg bomb and so forth.
Bug loadout:
orbital precision
orbital airburst
orbital gatling
quazar
light armor with extra armor buff
impact grenades
on not hot planets the las 16 sickle
on hot planets the dominator or basic punisher now that the slugger is nerfed.
I've been using the Breaker Incindiary. It was buffed a lot in the last patch. It actually is very good vs bugs right now. Even though it only has light armor pen, the DoT does significant damage. I don't have the Dominator yet, nor the Sickle.
Clear the chaff, then focus the titan down. It's less dangerous than the hordes that surround it usually.
Spoken like a true Helldiver.
Precision Strike is really good if you can use it but good luck with 50% extra call in time and 3 slots
500KG is similar to Precision Strike with what they do but has a larger area and can do it a second time before resupplying if you get your upgrades. Both of these can deal with side objective structures that aren't gunship factories
Orbital Railcannon is a good "I need this to die NOW" when armor is about to force your team off their position but it has a very long cooldown
Airstrike can finish them off and it's just all around good for everything, deals with hordes and armor and nest/fabricators
Railgun, Arc thrower, maybe flamethrower(?) can also help with finishing off a BT. If you've seen it take several anti tank shots and live, it could be a worth a gamble on saving your last stratagem for the next BT and fire it at the one about to die.
I don't use emplacements for them so can't really comment on mortar/rocket
Not sure how you get this feeling considering I plant the 500KG bombs in their back and they walk it off...I stopped picking the 500KG a long time ago and last night I wanted to test it out and this is my experience. It's a joke Stratagem.
I have no idea how they titans shrug off a 500 kg nuke but i just saw it happen today.
Other things like eagle airstrikes damage a titan, though the damage is small it can be useful to clear the chaff while poking at its health still.
Probably last tip is, if you have time, they're actually quite easy to lose if you run. They're faster than you in a straight line, but they don't take corners or rocks that might be in the way very well. Use terrain to your advantage, if there's any mountain areas, do a loop around it and then once out of its sight line, just leave, and 9/10 it won't find you again
Also,I just started the game a week ago. I don't have the Punisher. However just going by specs the tiny magazine of 8 and the slow firing speed of 90 for the Punisher doesn't look very effective vs bugs.
